Seddon Cricket Club is all about providing a platform for connecting people together.

This Movember ‘Test’ Match is a great example of that. Last night a 20/20 match between the Alternative Commentary Collective and a St Paul’s All Stars team was the highlight of Day 3. Here are some photos of that game.

Today we enter the WEEKEND STAGE of the Movember Test Match. It’s been a remarkable first three days with all players, umpires, scorers and supporters experiencing all the varying elements of what a 5 Day ‘Test’ Match is all about.

Changeable Weather, some notable performances for the right reasons, some notable performances for the wrong reasons - on and off the field - and some questionable commentary have highlighted the first three days. The ebbs and flows of ‘Test’ Match cricket have made this game a very intriguing affair and we can honestly say all 3 results are possible as we head into the last two days.

As it stands now, The Movember XI are firm favourites as they take a 125 run lead into Day 4 with 8 wickets in hand. Come down and watch the first session and witness Movember XI get their first ever Batters scoring a ‘Test’ Match 100. Fraser Fraafhuis is on 80 and looks set to bat all day, and the spiritual leader of Movember NZ, Robert Dunne, will likely bat all day which will mean a magnificent Day 5 Fourth Innings run chase tomorrow!!
